Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information The Daily (wethedaily.com) collects, why, and what we do with it. We collect as little as we can and never sell it.

Browsing this website

You can browse wethedaily.com without an account. Purchases happen on our marketplace stores (Tokopedia, Shopee), which have their own privacy policies. If you contact us by WhatsApp or email, we use your message and contact details only to reply.

Interview scheduling (candidates)

When you book a job interview with us, we collect:

• your name, email address and any note you choose to add;
• the time you booked and your timezone.

We use this only to arrange the interview: it is added to the interviewer's Google Calendar and Google sends you a calendar invitation with a Google Meet link. Interview records are kept for our hiring process and deleted on request.

Interview scheduling (interviewers) and Google user data

Team members who run interviews can connect their Google Calendar. With their permission we access:

• Free/busy information (calendar.freebusy) — only whether they are busy at a given time, never event titles, guests or details; used to offer candidates times when the interviewer is free.
• Calendar events (calendar.events) — used only to create, and if cancelled delete, the interview events that our scheduler books.
• Email address — to show which Google account is connected.

Access tokens are stored encrypted. Google user data is used only to provide the scheduling feature, is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not shared with anyone except as needed to create the calendar invitation. It is not used to train AI models. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Interviewers can disconnect at any time from their Google Account permissions page, or by asking us; we then delete the stored token.

Where data is stored

Interview data is stored in a database hosted by our infrastructure providers (Vercel and Neon) and in Google Calendar. These providers process it on our behalf.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time by emailing wholesale@wethedaily.com.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
